Customer Review: Nice for the price
Decent sound and really easy to setup…took me about 35 minutes from start to finish…but dont expect to watch crisp 1080p vids…the picture quality is really lacking and I had to incorporate my toshiba 1080p upconverter dvd player into system with another hdmi cable and optic cable and optic splitter to get what I wanted…but for the price I paid Im satisfied with the minimal effort I had to put into it.
Customer Review: dont buy this Samsung HT-Z510T
i purchased a Samsung HT-Z510T/xxa (rear wireless sound) from circuit city on Sept 26 2008. The theater sounded great and with the 1080p it looked great. But that was all short lived. i was watching a movie and the picture froze. i tried to restart the dvd but i got an error message that said bad disk. I tried a new disk same message. I tried an audio cd and got an error of no file. i sent my machine to samsung on january 23 2009. supposedly it was repaired. it was returned to me and worked great. After watching about 4 movies the same thing happened. I sent it back on february 20th to be repaired for the same reason. it was returned to me again. at least this time it lasted a few weeks. on april 12th i rent it for repairs for the 3rd time. same problem. today it was returned to me. i put in a movie. watched for about 20 minutes and the machine shut down. i turned it back on and 30 minutes later it shut down again. Im on my 2nd movie now and it has not turned off. but i dont have a warm fuzzy feeling about it. i would have rated this home theater with zero stars but i had to click 1.

Sanyo PLV-1080HD High Definition 1080p LCD Home Theater Projector Customer Review: I am amazed!
I absolutely love this projector. I first bought one that was advertised as 1080p “compatible” and boy was I let down. I didn’t realize that didn’t mean it would project that image, only that it would RECEIVE that strong of a signal and then project at it’s own native resolution. I sent that one back and bought the Sanyo, or as I like to call it “Old Beautiful” The image quality is SO GOOD. We have a 42inch 1080p LCD TV downstairs and the picture is just as good, only FOUR TIMES the size! For us men, Big TV is like Big Steak or Big Beer or Big whatever! Other reviewers mentioned not having a keystone correction but it has no need of one because it has this handy dial that will shift the image as far up or down as you might need. just lay the unit level and adjust the dials to put the image exactly where you want it. VERY easy. and the zoom lense lets you even DOUBLE the image size without ever moving the unit. I have it set up in my movie room with a projection distance of about 11 feet. With the zoom all the way out I get FULL USE out of my 120″ 16:9 screen. Let me say, 120″ of Hi-Def Master Chief is stinkin’ ridiculous! (That’s XBOX for anyone that doesn’t know.) I have a 1080p upconverting DVD player hooked up and movies are fantastic. I do plan to pick up a Blu-Ray player but don’t have it yet. My laptop is also plugged in so videos on my computer are displayed beautifully. My XBOX 360 and DVD player are both hooked up with HDMI cables. The only downside to this projector is that it doesn’t have an AUDIO output. That means that if I want to use HDMI, and that is the best signal transfer, I also need to run AUDIO to my stereo. Not a big deal if your devices have both HDMI output and a separate AUDIO output. The XBOX 360 has the regular plug and the HDMI plug right next to each other, which doesn’t leave enough room for both the regular cables, to run the audio to the stereo, and the HDMI to run to the projector. My solution for this was to remove the housing on the plug of the HDMI cable and carefully shove it in at the same time as the regular plug. Anyway, long story long, I made it work and I am so very pleased. I would HIGHLY recommend this product and would buy it again… but hopefully I won’t have to. Oh ya, and the remote and menus and controls are all very simple and make perfect sense. I’m sure even my 13 year old son could figure it out. I hope he doesn’t try. This is Dad’s toy!

I replaced a Sanyo Z2 that had an LCD issue. The picture on this unit is incredible with virtually no adjustments - right out of the box. Unit is pretty large, but blends into my white drop ceiling. Motorized front door covering lens is cool. Highly recommend if you are looking for a killer picture at a great price.

Customer Review: Make good surround Speakers
I have these in the back and Polks up front with a sub and they sound good. I did a test hooking up the Bose on “A” side and Polk on “B” side of the reciever and tested each set, granted the Polk do sound better but they are larger and more expensive. For the size the Bose are amazing. Very happy with the Bose in the back mounted on the ceiling, they look good too.

Customer Review: Great Home Theater
I had some reservations about purchasing this product after reading other reviews. Ultimately I decided to get it, figuring I could return it if there were problems.
I’m pleased to say that the product has performed flawlessly. The sound is great; it fills my large living room with sound.
I have it installed with a Samsung plasma display & Samsung BD 1500 Blue Ray player. Contrary to other reviews I had no problem hooking it up according to the manual. I did use (3) HDMI 1.3 compliant cables for all connections; as well as (1) optical cable as directed for sound.
The Anynet feature works fine. After allowing Anynet to find my other components I am able to perform everyday viewing tasks with one remote. Advanced features of the TV still require using the remote for the TV.
Amazon price and delivery were excellent as usual. So far, I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

Customer Review: AMAZING SOUND!!!
First off let me explain that the Energy Classic speakers in this kit are the exact same as the Energy Take Classic 5.1 except that you don’t get the subwoofer. These speakers are just mind boggling good. They come in gloss piano black finish. They sound better than any speakers I’ve ever owned - even ones 5 times bigger. I use them mostly for music thru my Onkyo receiver but home theater sounds just as good. You can crank these babies up and they reward you with very clean and accurate sound. The first song I listened to with these was Khatru off Keys To Ascension and it put a big smile on my face. Anyway the best reason to get this set as opposed to the 5.1 kit is that you can match these up with a better subwoofer than the Energy sub. I got the Yamaha SW315 in piano black and it’s a great match. Highly recommended. Just remember to use the proper gauge speaker wire for the length of your run and you’ll be in great shape.

Customer Review: Tivo Series 3 works for me
There are two model numbers for this AV Receiver as disclosed on CNET. One model number is the RX-V565BL, the other is the HTR-6250BL, which I purchased. At various times, the prices of the two vary on Amazon, so I just went with the cheaper one. I coupled the receiver with the Energy Take Classic 5.1 and was able to get two satellites on Ebay to complete a 7.1 speaker system. To round out the system I have the Mitsubishi DLP 73″. I also have the PS3, xbox360 and Wii hooked up.
