Polk Audio RM6750 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System (Set of Six, Titanium) Polk Audio RM6750 Titanium Six-piece 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System - Introducing a complete home-theater audio solution for people who crave true cinema excitement without breaking the bank.?the RM6750. The integrated Power Port Bass Vent designed right onto the back of the compact Satellite & Center Channel speakers-the same technology used in full-sized Polk Audio speakers-improves lower midrange response and all-important sub/sat blending, taking the RM6750 beyond the performance realm of any other sub/sat system in this price range. This integrated design reveals midrange with no ?hole? in the frequencies between the sats and the sub, for male vocals that are rich and full-not thin and weak like other sub/sat systems. The RM6750 comes with its own subwoofer module, an 8 inch long throw driver and high current power amplifier for real ground-shaking bass thrills. The Subwoofer features an 8-inch Long-Throw Dynamic Balance Poly Composite Driver with built-in Subwoofer amp (50 Watts Continuous Power) Dimensions - Fronts/Surrounds - 6-1/2 H x 4-1/16 W x 5 D, 2 lbs / Center - 4-5/16 H x 11-3/16 W x 5-13/16 D, 5.25 lbs / Subwoofer - 15-7/8 H x 11 W x 13-1/2 D, 28 lbs
Customer Review: These are worth every penny
I shopped around for a while and found the best price here on amazon. The speakers them selfs are great. The only down side was I purchased the Titanium speakers, the sub was black. Not a hugh deal but wasnt expecting it. I have put over 200 watts through these things and the sound and bass have been great.

Customer Review: Good,,for htib
A search of the internet will quickly reveal many in the audiophile community bashing “home theater in a box” (htib) systems like this, and many of their entirely valid criticisms of such systems apply to this unit, but it has a lot of redeeming qualities too that make me overall convinced that this is a good buy for anyone whose needs match what it provides. Also it is a pretty high end htib so the sound quality will exceed what many would expect. A quick word on settings: This unit comes with a number of effects such as surround enhancement and some pre set EQ settings. Don’t use them. Maybe turn down the sub a bit and turn up the center channel, but your goal with movies is to ACCURATELY reproduce the sound as it was intended to be heard. Keep everything flat and you will hear how the movie was meant to sound. That’s how I know this is a quality htib: It sounds good with everything flat)

Customer Review: Best Budget Receiver Under $350
I purchased this reciever based on a review I read from audioholics and I figured why not just post it for everyone to read. I couldn’t agree more with their review. It is a solid receiver for the $299 amazon price.

Onkyo HT-SR700 5.1 Home Theater Entertainment System The trade-off between home theater packages and separate components is essentially an issue of quality. The market is overflowing with cookie-cutter packages straight off the assembly line. These packages are an amalgam of cost-cutting reductions from the amplification stage right through to the speaker cones. Taking a different tack, Onkyo has drawn from the strength of its stand-alone A/V receiver line-up to drive the HT-SR700 5.1-channel receiver/speaker package. Stripping down to the essentials ? video switching capabilities and HDTV connectivity; circuitry that preserves audio signal purity; and ease-of-setup and straightforward operability ? the HT-SR700 is cost-effective for the user, not cost-sensitive to the manufacturer.
Customer Review: Great sound
You cant compare the sound you get out of this system especially in this price range. Great unit many inputs and a good mellow sub woofer, fills the room at half volume.

Customer Review: JUNK …WOULD NOT WORK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX!!
I just purchased this June 08 from Amazon. The audio is dead right out of the box!!. I spent hours with customer no service. They recommend I send it off for repair. Checking the warranty I find they want ME to pay the shipping. No way!!. This is my first and last Samsung product. I also think
that Amazon should go to bat and backup their customers. But we both know that wont happen. It maybe 2008 but its still buyer be ware!!

Customer Review: Yamaha RX-V363
I purchased this Yamaha (RXV363) unit because a lightning storm burned out the Sony, which I was happy with. This unit resides in my bedroom - which consists of an HDTV, FIOS, DVD and Sony 5.1 satellite speaker system - and is not my main HT system, which reside in the basement and consist of the higher end components. I looked at the Yamaha RXC463, Onkyo TX-SR506, 606, Sony STR-DG720 but did not want to spend the extra cash for the satellite ready capability. Nor was I interested in the video switching capabilities since I connect all video source directly to the TV and all audio sources to the receiver. For switching, I use my Harmony 880 - one button operation.
