the only problems i have with this remote are that it does not work with my sony cdr/cd player recorder, deck A plays cd’s and the remote works with that deck, but deck B records cd’s and the remote will not work with it. also this remote has no drivers or upgrade support for windows vista when you try to program the remote. thank goodness for my old pc that still uses windows xp. all in all im happy with my purchase.

If you are looking for a compact home theater you should consider DAV-IS10. First of all the system provides a real surround despite the size. Second of all, it`s stylish and has a upscaler dvd player.

Great sound. Easy setup. However the name is very misleading. I thought it included a Blu-ray player but it only MATCHES the Blu-ray player that is sold seperately. I admit it was my fault and bit on the bait.

Customer Review: Simple setup with great sound
We purchased this as an entry-level setup just to be able to enjoy our new HDTV to the max. Until we actually hooked it up, we both thought the TV sounded fine. We will probably upgrade this system in a few years when we eventually get around to a Blu-ray or some other HD player but until then, it is very nice for the money ($137 with shipping from Amazon).

Customer Review: Great Receiver for the Price
I bought this receiver for my boyfriend as an anniversary present. He’s a big a/v nerd and really wanted a better receiver for the new hd-tv that he was getting. I looked around and really couldn’t find anything better than this (without being twice the price)… it has 3 hdmi I was pretty worried that it wouldn’t be up to his standards, but he was thrilled and said that it was easy to hook up and had all of the outputs/inputs that he needed. There haven’t been any problems with it, and we’ve had it for a while. Like I said, great receiver for the price!
