Cheap Polk Audio RM6750 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System (Set of Six, Black) Polk Audio RM6750 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System (Set of Six, Black) Polk Audio RM6750 Black Six-piece 5.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System - Introducing a complete home-theater audio solution for people who crave true cinema excitement without breaking the bank.?the RM6750. The integrated Power Port Bass Vent designed right onto the back of the compact Satellite & Center Channel speakers-the same technology used in full-sized Polk Audio speakers-improves lower midrange response and all-important sub/sat blending, taking the RM6750 beyond the performance realm of any other sub/sat system in this price range. This integrated design reveals midrange with no ?hole? in the frequencies between the sats and the sub, for male vocals that are rich and full-not thin and weak like other sub/sat systems. The Subwoofer features an 8-inch Long-Throw Dynamic Balance Poly Composite Driver with built-in Subwoofer amp (50 Watts Continuous Power) Dimensions - Fronts/Surrounds - 6-1/2 H x 4-1/16 W x 5 D, 2 lbs / Center - 4-5/16 H x 11-3/16 W x 5-13/16 D, 5.25 lbs / Subwoofer - 15-7/8 H x 11 W x 13-1/2 D, 28 lbs
Customer Review: These are a steal!
I have a dedicated home theater/videogame room with a High Def Video Projector. My last old piece of hardware was my Yamaha HTR-5730 Reciever and speakers. Heard these Polks at a friend’s house in a open area bad for sound and they amazed me. Did some research and pulled the trigger on these at slightly over two hundred dollars. THEY ARE A STEAL!

My fiancee who was sceptical as to why we needed new speakers was blown away and still comments from time to time how good they sound. If you hook them up as Polk recommends (not using the dedicated sub cable) you will be amazed. Excellent highs and mid and thunderous bass that seems to emit from the satellites but not the sub (unless it is one of those discreet “rumble” frequencies). She never wants to go to the Theater now!

The surround during videogames makes me jump alot more now since these speakers have such good detail. Try playing Silent Hill Homecoming or Fallout 3 with these babies and get back to me!

Highly recommended.
Customer Review: Great entry level home theater sound.
After waiting a couple of months for an Onkyo 7.1 system to be in stock, I decided to go with the RM 6750 5.1 system when the price dropped on Amazon. It is connected to an Onkyo 606 receiver that is the hub for our Sharp Aquos HDTV and Memorex DVD upgrading player. The speakers sound great at 30% volume when watching TV or DVDs. I do not like to crank up the volume and these are plenty loud enough for us at 30%. Haven’t tried them yet with music; but I am not expecting to be disappointed. I recommend these speakers to anyone wanting a good entry level sound. I stayed away from Home Theater in a box systems because of their limitations.

The center channel is clear and dialogue is great. The base rumbles just enough for our taste; but turned up higher will shake the room. The fronts and surrounds provide a good ‘in theater’ feel. It would be great to add a couple of Polk towers to bring the set up to 7.1 even though we like it as is.
